These terms govern your use of vpowered.tech and the services we provide. By using this website or engaging us, you accept them.
1. About us
V Powered is a digital services provider trading in South Africa as a sole proprietorship owned by Tanz Whitlie. You can reach us at info@vpowered.tech or +27 82 658 8395.
2. Use of this website
You may browse and use this website for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, upload harmful code, or copy its content for commercial use without our written permission.
3. Our content
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, designs and code, belongs to V Powered or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. Client logos and work shown in our portfolio remain the property of those clients and appear
with their permission.
4. Quotations and engagement
Information on this website is not an offer. Work begins only once we have issued a written quotation or proposal and you have accepted it in writing. Each engagement is governed by that document together with these terms; where they conflict, the signed proposal takes precedence.
5. Payment
Unless the proposal states otherwise, a deposit is payable before work begins and the balance on completion or according to the agreed milestones. Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice. We may suspend work on overdue accounts. Recurring services such as hosting, maintenance and support are billed in advance and continue until cancelled in writing.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to supply the content, approvals, access and information we need in good time, and you confirm that any material you supply is yours to use and does not infringe anyone else's rights. Delays in supplying material may move agreed timelines.
7. Intellectual property in the work
Ownership of the final deliverables transfers to you once payment has been received in full. We retain ownership of our underlying tools, frameworks, working files and know-how, and may display the completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
8. Third-party services
Our work often relies on third-party platforms such as Wix, hosting providers, domain registrars and software vendors. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for their availability, pricing changes or performance.
9. Revisions and acceptance
Each project includes the number of revision rounds set out in the proposal. Additional revisions or changes in scope are quoted separately. Deliverables are treated as accepted if no feedback is received within ten business days of delivery.
10. Cancellation
Either party may cancel a project in writing. You remain liable for work completed and costs committed up to the cancellation date. Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.
11. Limitation of liability
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care, but we do not guarantee specific business outcomes such as rankings, traffic or revenue. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for that engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or data.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your engagement applies to it.
